There was no surprise when bottom-ranked RomanianAmicii (0-8) was outplayed by eleventh ranked Italian Jesi (7-1) 77-49 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Jesi. Amicii managed to win third quarter 14-12 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Jesi dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Amicii 's 36. They outrebounded Amicii 49-31 including a 26-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lorenzo Giannattasio fired 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Achille Fiorentino chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Jesi players scored in double figures. Vlad Anuta produced 9 points and 7 rebounds and Tudor Vlasie added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jesi have a solid three-game winning streak.
